One of the most frequently
asked questions of us is: How did we get
started in this
business?In the early 1980’s I used scrap
brick
from building construction and joined the pieces to create
houses and villages. I always wanted designs the scrap pieces
didn’t allow which lead to my husband
Frank cutting the
solid
bricks. We first thought of seeking out
someone to do this
cutting for us, but soon found out that no one would consider
cutting brick in this manner. Frank took it upon himself to
build a saw that would allow these
techniques and he has been
very creative! His unique cutting of chimneys, dormers and even
church steeples has set a trademark for our business.

Using solid bricks we have created
3-dimensional pieces resembling
houses/buildings just waiting
for you to tell us what unique personalization you would like on
the design of your choice.
The sculpturing/cutting is very unique to
our pieces. Creating chimney's church
steeples, dormers and multi-fronted structures make our designs
a "trademark" to our business. Each piece is
copyrighted to protect our sculptures and designs. Your
personalized bricks will be one of a kind!
All pieces are originals and are hand
painted one at a time by artist Judy Rohret. The creative
painting allows the warmth and hue of the genuine brick to
show. No two pieces are exactly alike. Each piece
bears the artist's name and signature.
To this day Frank & Judy still do all
the cutting and painting themselves, thus keeping the level of
quality of workmanship
